Welcome

to FlutePlay and thanks for stopping by.

This is where you can see scores and listen to great performances of flute music for various groupings, including flute choir.

What is FlutePlay?

Find out what – and who – FlutePlay is by clicking on About fp. Essentially it’s about providing great music for various different flute combinations. But it’s much more than that…

The focal point of FlutePlay is the Catalogue. Here you will find a wealth of info about the music FlutePlay has to offer.

You can check scores to see how easy – or not – the pieces are. AND you can listen to “one-minute snippits” of nearly all FlutePlay’s music. If you’d like to buy a piece or two, then we’re connected to PayPal, so that’s easy, too.

You can listen on each piece’s individual page or, for a real audio flutefest, you can just browse through Listen Here!

If you’re not so sure about online ordering you’ll find reassurance on the procedure by clicking the How to Order tab.

And if you click on the Home tab and nothing happens, it’s OK, it just means that it is being brought bang up to date.

Plans include..

more articles for information, education and entertainment. This is free content and comes from one of the country’s most highly qualified and experienced flute playing teacher/examiners. Stay Tuned!  Comments are also welcome. Video links to Youtube are already present and more performances will be filmed.

To get an idea of this – and to hear a really nice two-flute version of John Denver’s Annie’s Song – have a gander at the video on the right, also featured on FlutePlay’s Youtube Channel, to which you are encouraged to subscribe as well!

In fact, how about a quick look and listen now? Click on the audio player below to hear this month’s featured FlutePlay piece, just produced, and a virtuosic and beautiful arrangement for two flutes and piano of Isolde’s Liebestod from Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde”. To be published SOON.
